The weather has really cooled down here in southern Illinois. September 22nd was the Autumnal Equinox. It showed up just like a switch had been thrown. That Monday before (the 21st) things got a lot cooler. We have had cloud cover all week thus far. Yesterday it misted a bit, but very little. We had a funeral to attend with grave site services. It was a nice weather change to have cooler weather with no rain and cloud cover. That meant we did not get roasted by the sun or wet with rain during the service. This week has been packed with much transition and changes. Trying to move stuff and getting loose ends tied up while mourning has been real rough on the family and more so for my wife. The Father has gave us all extra strength. Thankfully.
We just switched hosting packages. Buzzsprout opened up the hours with different packages. We finally decided to switch over to one of the new packages. It has given us more hours to use for our recordings each month. The transactions are now figured in, instead of needing to pay $10.00 extra to get them done. Very nice. So I pay a little bit less, get more hours each month and my episode transcriptions are included. Thank you Buzzsprout! I feel like a little extra time each episode gives me more breathing room. It felt like I was always rushing to get everything into that 45 minute window each week. Then if I had a 5 week month oh well something had to give. It may just be me, but It feels slightly easier and better. Time will tell.
This episode I was able to get several news stories in, the 7 day earthquake report and all 9 cities weather listed. I hope the recording showed a more casual approach.
